Weave101 Just some Basics
In krisssydee's opinion !!!!!!!!!!!!
1st lets get the hair!!!
When purchasing hair lets think of the style. What look are we going for ? How long will you have the weave. If you don't plan on keeping the hair long hit up the beauty supply store .... Me personally I don't wear beauty supply store hair anymore. But thats just me. I would suggest that girls who want either a quick weave or something that they won't have long, go to the beauty supply and ask what's their best quality hair for the time period your trying to keep it.
Now my virgin hair girls that's me! That's my area right there. As my followers from instagram know I'm addicted to the virgin hair and have a serious problem lol. But anyway ladies when buying from a virgin hair company think about how much your willing to spend then go from there. The most important thing is reading reviews see what other people who have purchased the hair have to stay ! Research research is very important !!!
Now you have your hair now find somebody who knows what they are doing! I've heard some horror stories like splitting the tracks and sewing them in and not doubling them! That's foolish. See what their cliental looks like. Look at photos do their sew ins look full? Do they show photos of their foundation. A good foundation is key to a great sew in!
Upkeep! You have to shampoo your extensions. Your extensions lack the natural oils that your hair has so the weave actually needs more upkeep! So wash your weave like you would regularly wash your hair. Air drying is the best when it comes your weave. Less heat on your extensions or hair is always better so avoid the dryer.
Tie your hair up. Wrap it. Flexi rod it. Put a bonnet on it. Something!!!! Don't just go to bed, your hair can tangle mat and when you brush it it can shed because of all the struggling you'll have to do to tam it.
Ok so these are just a few steps. Remember I'm not a licensed cosmologist I'm just addicted to hair and changing mind so these are just my opinion and what I've either read or what works for me. If you like post like these let me know. Email me for suggestions krisssydeee@yahoo.com
